AKOFE and Arthur C Clarke Institute in Collaboration with the Faculty of Computing Present the Knowledge Dissemination Programme on Nano Satellites

We are excited to announce that the Knowledge Dissemination Programme on Nano Satellites organized by the Association of KOICA Fellows in Sri Lanka (AKOFE) in collaboration with the Arthur C Clarke Institute was a huge success!

The event, which took place on 23rd August 2023 at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, was attended by over 100 students and young professionals. The program featured stimulating lectures by two experts in the field of nanosatellites, Samantha Pushpakumara and Tharindu Dayarathna.

The lectures covered a wide range of topics, including the introduction to nanosatellites, their subsystems, the groundbreaking ‘Ravana-1’ – Sri Lanka’s first nanosatellite, and the diverse applications of these advanced technologies.

The interactive Q&A session at the end of the program gave participants the opportunity to clarify their queries and expand their knowledge.

We would like to thank all the participants, speakers, and organizers for making this event a success. We hope to see you all at our next event!
